It’s made from a semi-gloss black plastic with an angled design, vent ports on either side and three antennas. The aesthetic clean and balanced.
The connectors and buttons are all hidden on the back of the device except for the USB 3.0 port which is thoughtfully and conveniently located at the front of the router to make it easier to plug in a flash drive or external hard drive. The hard drive can then be shared by all devices on the network, which is an especially useful feature. Also, the indicator lights are on the front and are easy to see and read.
The installation process is simple, and it’s easy to follow the brief, enclosed instructions. Since the user only needs to plug in two cables and power the device on, it’s nearly fool-proof.
