1. Lipton Recipe Secrets “Souperior Meatloaf”
Ingredients
- 1 envelope of Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
- 2 pounds of ground beef
- ¾ cup of plain breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup of water
- ⅓ cup of ketchup
Directions
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, combine the Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix, ground beef, plain bread crumbs, eggs, water, and ketchup. In a 13×9 inch baking pan, shape the mixture into a loaf. Bake uncovered for one hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you do not have packaged bread crumbs, you can use 1.5 cups of fresh breadcrumbs.
To make this recipe even easier, you can prepare it in your slow cooker. Simply place the mixture, in a loaf shape, into your slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours. To make it easier to remove from the slow cooker, place a rack in the bottom of your slow cooker first, and then place the meatloaf on a piece of cheesecloth.
This recipe will serve approximately seven people, perfect for a family of four with leftovers for lunch.
2. Campbell’s Best Ever Meatloaf
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of ground beef
- 10 ¾ ounces Campbell’s Condensed Tomato Soup
- 1 envelope of Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
- ½ cup of plain breadcrumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- ¼ cup of water
Directions
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, combine the beef, ½ of a cup of tomato soup, the onion soup packet, bread crumbs, and egg. Make sure to mix the ingredients thoroughly. Form the mixture into a loaf shape in a 13×9 inch baking pan. Bake the meatloaf for an hour and fifteen minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Let the meatloaf sit for ten minutes before attempting to slice into it.
The drippings from the meatloaf make an excellent serving sauce. To make it, put 2 tablespoons of the pan drippings in a saucepan with the rest of the tomato soup and the water. Heat it over medium heat until boiling hot. Serve the mixture on top of the meatloaf.
For something a little bit different, use condensed cream of mushroom instead of tomato soup. This recipe can also be made in a slow cooker, following the same directions from the previous recipe.
3. Pizza Meatloaf
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of ground beef
- 1.5 cups of fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- ¼ cup of water
- 1 cup of pasta sauce
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, combine the onion soup mix, ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, bell pepper, half of the pasta sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Make sure to combine them thoroughly. Shape the mixture into a loaf in a 13×9 inch pan. Top the loaf with the rest of the pasta sauce.
Bake the loaf for fifty minutes. Remove it from the oven and top with the remaining cheese. Continue baking the loaf for another 10 minutes, or until it has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before attempting to slice it.
This recipe can be spiced up to reflect any of your favorite pizza toppings. Consider adding pepperoni, different vegetables, or sausage to the recipe, either in the mixture or placed on top.
